This past week I received a chain e-mail about buying only American made products from August 1- September 1st. You have probably heard the stories of the Made in America show where Diane Sawyer took everything out of a suburban American household that was not made in America. All that was left was an empty house pretty much. The e-mail also mentioned how food products are coming from China more and more. I know recently I tried to buy apple juice for my little one, and I looked at the store brand label. It said "Apples from China". Apples! when I know they grow in most all of our 50 states! No way do I buy that brand. I just bought a bottle of Motts, which actually says on the label, "100% U.S. grown apples".
I found a store in New York that only sells 100% made and packaged in America "stuff". It is called appropriately, "Made in America".
I am sure there are other great stores out there that sell and feature American made items, and companies who are unsung heroes for their commitment to "Made in the USA". Comment below if you know of any.
God Bless America!
